Reyes joined UIC in 2021 as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the university’s chief academic officer to advise on matters of academic policy, strategic direction, enrollment management and academic resource planning. He grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and graduated in 1984 from Princeton University.
