Little Rock Nine Member Thelma Mothershed Wair, Dies at the Age of 83

Thelma Watershed Wair, who made history as one of the Little Rock Nine who integrated an Arkansas high school in 1957, died over the weekend. The university later inducted her into their Alumni Hall of Fame and awarded her an honorary doctorate in 2016. She was 83. Louis School District #189, until her retirement in 1994.
