This is a little lower than the peak admissions achieved in the assessed grades year of 2021 at 138,610 and the 2024 intake was much higher than the pre-Covid 2019 acceptance rate at 115,390. These well-intentioned proposals, whilst frequently referencing affordability, achieve exactly the opposite by putting rents up.
