Marymount Eliminates Liberal Arts Degrees

The board of Marymount University, in Virginia, voted unanimously to eliminate 10 programs, mostly in the liberal arts, on Friday. The vote eliminated majors in art, economics, English, history, mathematics, philosophy, secondary education, sociology, and theology and religious studies, and an M.A. in English and humanities.
