How higher education and the workforce is rapidly changing Advances in technology and artificial intelligence are changing the nature of work and reshaping it. However, academia hasn’t caught up with these current technological advances, including AI. There also needs to be a human-centered focus in schools.
Instead, we foster an environment of learning, growth, and empowerment. Active learning strategies help students take risks and engage deeply with material in a low-pressure environment. When we approach teaching from this perspective, we move away from punitive measures, fear-based management, and skepticism about students honesty.
