ATI members run the gamut, from the entire Ivy League and flagship publics to regional comprehensive universities, and a variety of private liberalarts colleges. Too often, four-year institutions engage community college students sporadically through occasional webinars and information sessions.
IIE also said that it would be collaborating on “new programs” with the non-profit, and will launch talks, networking receptions and “educational webinars”. The partnership is the second since the Center’s inception in early 2023, with first being the liberalarts institution Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.

I was listening to a webinar with our colleagues at Niche who were talking about their recent junior survey and really the lengthening of that process for students, starting much earlier, many of them, not all of them, but many of them starting much earlier than they used to in even thinking about it and having conversations about college admission.
And getting them for example, to understand what their role is, especially at a small private liberalarts college, in the mid market, at a price point that is awfully high, that competes with state flagships as their number one competitor. Colleges and universities could provide this role while weaving career paths through the traditional liberalarts education that has served humanity so well for so long. Reminder: related webinar. But only if they build the pathways to accommodate these continuous and granular needs. If they don’t, then somebody else will.

I was recently looking at the website for a very traditional liberalarts college, the liberal artsy of the most liberalarts colleges, and they were showing profiles of students. Grant De Roo: Exactly. And for what it’s worth, I’ve seen it cut both ways as well. Jarrett Smith: Yeah, interesting.
